** In our opinion, requiring players to partake in a self-appointed governing body or private rating company to participate is not healthy for the sport of pickleball.

Pickleball Wisconsin will not promote events or tournaments that require players to enroll/join USA Pickleball, DUPR, or similar organizations to participate.

HITTERS PICKLEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FOR JDRF
– May 16-18, 2025 –

Hitters Pickleball Club is hosting their annual pickleball tournament for Breakthrough T1D, formerly JDRF. Last year we raised over $9,000 for diabetes research in our first year and are hoping to grow this year.

Friday, May 16th, 6-9 pm we are hosting a social mixer party with snacks, drinks, and music. All 17 courts will be in play and divided by level. Sign up will be through:  http://playtimescheduler.com/

WISCONSIN PADDLE BATTLE 2025
– May 17 & 18, 2025 –

Join us for the inaugural Wisconsin Paddle Battle! This pickleball tournament fundraiser benefits Wisconsin Youth Company: Where kids thrive beyond the school day.

3.0 – 4.0+ will feature Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles round-robin style play. Each team will play Saturday OR Sunday within a 4-hour slot of time (to be announced based on registrations).

If you’re new to Pickleball (never played, played 1 or 2 times) you can join our “Just for Fun” doubles bracket! These teams will play in a single-elimination bracket within a 1.5-hour time slot on Saturday (5/17).

Winners will receive medals and gift certificates to local restaurants and shops. All participants will receive a goody bag upon check-in with water and some other fun items generously donated by businesses.

We will have food trucks on-site during the event, and there will be opportunities to support Wisconsin Youth Company through a 50/50 raffle and themed raffle baskets.

FUN PRAIRIE PICKLEBALL OPEN
– June 7 & 8, 2025 –

The Fun Prairie Pickleball Open is all about having a great time and enjoying the spirit of the game! Designed as a recreational event, this tournament welcomes players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Whether you’re looking to compete for fun or just want to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, this event is perfect for everyone. With a focus on community, friendly competition, and, most importantly, fun, participants can expect a day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and plenty of pickleball action. Come out, bring your friends, and experience the joy of pickleball in a laid-back, supportive environment in the City of FUN Prairie!

This year’s tournament two-day event will feature round robin play (Pools of 5 teams or less will be games to 15, win by 1. Pools of 6 teams or more will be games to 11, win by 1.) This will be followed by a medal round in which the top two finishers from the round robin compete for gold/silver and the third and fourth finishers play for bronze. Gold/silver/bronze matches will be one game played to 15, win by 2.

THE BLUE ZONE SUMMER CLASSIC
– June 27-29, 2025 –

Come play pickleball at our state-of-the-art 17-court indoor facility in La Crosse, WI! All events will be pool play, with some teams advancing to bracket play. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games. A minimum of 4 entrants is required for each division, or the event will be merged or cancelled at the discretion of the director. All 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers will receive a medal. All 4.0-4.5 and 4.5+ 1st, 2nd, and 3rd division finishers will also receive a cash purse tiered payout spread evenly across all divisions. PAYOUT: 100 – 150 total participants: $1000. 151 – 250 total participants $2000. 251+ total participants $3000.
